Within the first hour, maybe even 30 minutes, of getting to know me, you’ll learn I keep it all the way real, my idea of a good time is a delicious meal with a loved one, I have a deep love for music, I read a lot. I believe in the potency of love and the thought of a happy ever after.

It’s no secret: I love romance. Relearning ways of loving is my thing.

I love dates that come in all sizes, from extra small to extra large. The monumental ones don’t happen often in life, which makes them extra sparkly; meanwhile all kinds of little ones in between…your small wins have the collective power to shape your everyday.

Just as there are all kinds of dates, there are so many ways to connect. It is rare that they are extravagant, but they are always moments of joy. On occasion, they’re a bit of joyous defiance, which is not easy in this city or life.

In addition to dressing up and going out and feeling good, what I love most about dates is that they have the power to create and strengthen  relationships, including the one you have with yourself. They mark moments in time, both endings and beginnings. They can give you strength to get through the day. They can also help to drive you forward.
